Home Mico Kocovic
Mico Kocovic is a Montenegrin angler who boasts more days a year at sea than on land. He is active almost exclusively in the Adriatic Sea.
His love for the sea and fishing began when he was 6 years old. The first fish caught from the shore were a great incentive for the passion eventually developed for fishing. His advantage was because he lives by the sea and he could dedicate himself completely to fishing.
The first experiences like a child were with small fish as scad, common pandora, sargus… For years, the appetite for big fish grew.
“Fishing is a school that lasts forever.” – he claims – “Every new day at sea is a new experience”.
Today his fishing activity mainly focuses on the Adriatic Sea targeting fish that include Amberjack, Dentex, Pink Dentex, Bluefin Tuna, Bonito, Mediterranean Grouper (Cernia) and Bluefish. He is lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful corners in the Adriatic Sea, one that still features a rich marine life and clear and deep waters.
